We pride ourselves on teaching all styles of music and place a strong emphasis on getting good fundamental musicianship skills including reading, sense of time, dynamics, articulation etc. - while having fun playing along to music.
We encourage students to take music examinations and are well versed in the Rockschool, Trinity Guildhall and Trinity Rock and Pop syllabi, as well as teaching from our own scheme of work. Music examinations can be a valuable preparation for life as a professional musician, and the fact that grade 6-8 also count towards UCAS points is another massive benefit to doing them.
We have a proven track record of developing students to succeed and our results speak for themselves. We boast a 100% exam success rate and a number of our current and former students are currently playing in bands of their own

Emma Liu
Since studying a popular music degree at Leeds Conservatoire, Emma has toured the UK playing for for signed and independent artists such as Ellur, Brodie Milner and Ava in the Dark, whilst also working on her own personal artistic project ‘in the beyond’.
A passionate teacher, Emma's patient and encouraging approach see her students progress rapidly while expanding their musical horizons in a dynamic, enjoyable way.
Emma has been drumming for 11 years, establishing her name in the music scene as a reputable session musician.
